Location & Setting

Alama Camp Mara in Ololaimutiek is situated just outside the Oloolaimutia Gate, placing guests a few minutes' drive from the Masai Mara National Reserve. From the camp's terrace and restaurant, the Mara plain is visible, and guests can watch animals like wildebeest from their tents with binoculars. The camp is 11 mile from Keekorok Airport and offers complimentary airport shuttle service.

Accommodations & Rooms

The camp's tents are spacious buildings with a private veranda, a jacuzzi on the deck, and one side open to the reserve, closed by staff at night. Each room has a king-size bed, instant hot water, a refrigerator, and tea/coffee service, as well as a blowdryer and a stocked minibar. A connecting tent is available for large groups, and nightly turn-down service includes placing hot water bottles in the bed.

Dining & Cuisine

Breakfast offers continental, American, Italian, full English/Irish, vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, and Asian options, with a daily menu instead of a buffet. Lunch and dinner are cook-to-order, 4-course meals with 3 main course choices, and the chef accommodates dietary needs like low sodium and smaller portions for children.
